2017  LANGLEY HIGH SCHOOL MVP BASEBALL GAME

Langley High School

April 21, 2017

Langley High's SGA Leadership class combined forces with Varsity baseball to host an evening of celebration at the Saxon's home field on Friday, April 21st. The weather was perfect as classmates, friends and fans remembered Matt with a moment of silence and cheered the Saxons on to a resounding 16-3 victory over visiting Hayfield.  Thanks to Coach Healy and all the Saxon coaches and players for making it a game to remember!

A big thank you to Leadership advisors Sandy Hamilton, Kiersten Conrad, and the Leadership class who selected our foundation as a beneficiary of their fundraising activities for the 16-17 school year.  They planned a fun and memorable event with a  "Left Field Lounge" that was home to corn hole games, face painting, a bake sale and the occasional home run ball. Class leaders ran the baseball concessions and our friends at Mookie's BBQ in Great Falls provided them with pulled chicken, pulled pork and their famous mac & cheese .

Jennifer Ellington with the Warrior Canine Connection and service dog in-training Frazier also joined us and they enjoyed meeting and greeting the Langley community.  We love any opportunity to increase awareness of this wonderful organization organization that utilizes clinically based Canine Connection Therapy to help wounded Warriors reconnect with life, their families, their communities, and each other.
