Hi, I am Olivia and I am blessed to say that Matt was one of my closest friends. He brought humor and positive energy to every situation, which made it a blast to be around him. One example of this is the time that he came to mine and  Sarah’s  basketball game. Matt and my other friends were literally the only fans in the student section. They cheered for the whole game and their voices echoed in the gym. He was also wearing Sarah’s away jersey with a poster he and Alex made featuring my most unattractive snap chats. I think this memory really represents the kind of friend Matt was because he did everything with all of the spirit and enthusiasm possible. He had so much passion for everything whether it was baseball, friends or a girls basketball game. There are no words I could possibly relate to you all how special of a person Matt was not only to me but to everyone he interacted with. I can’t think of one person who didn’t like him, literally not one. I know he is looking down on all of us with his big goofy smile and realizes how adored he is. He is the type of friend you will only have once in a lifetime and I wish we had more time to make more funny memories together. I am so thankful for the people that shared this love for Matt because we are all going through it together and can support each other through this unbelievably hard time without him. I can’t describe how much I love and miss you Matt. Just know that you are the MVP of best friends.
