Hi, my name is Dani and I was Matt’s really good friend for this past year. I don’t know where to start about Matt. I mean if I had to describe him in one word, it would be incredible. Matt is the most loving, compassionate, and hilarious person to ever walk the planet. Not only did he impact my life, but he did also for so many people. Every person you could think of would only have positive things to say about him. It is extremely hard to express how much Matt meant to me in words. He would always find a way to make me laugh or put me in a good mood no matter what mood I was in. I wish he could be by my side right now to help me through all of this. It is easy for me to say that this year that I spent with him was one of the best in my life. Matt was so special to so many people and I wish you could see that. Although I have many memories that I would love to share, there is one that really stands out to me. As many of you know Matt unfortunately loved country music. He was always a DJ at every one of our parties. Many people did not approve of his song choices. People would request songs of him and I requested a few of my favorites also. Eventually he would make a new play list with all of the music we liked. Little things like this remind me of how selfless Matt was. So this one time I was wearing this dress on Valentines day and we were hanging out. I told him my mom told me I looked like a potato sack and he told me that I looked like a good potato sack. I really wish that I could see him one more time and tell him how important he is to me and so many other people. I miss you so much Matty boy. I hope you are having fun up there. Rest easy.
