JOE HORTON'S DAYTONA 100 ULTRAMARATHON FUNDRAISER
Joe Horton is an ultramarathoner and the father of a Stars baseball player. When Joe learned of Matt's story and reflected on his own relationship with his son, Jackson, he wanted to do something to help the MVP Memorial Foundation. Joe offered to raise money for Matt's charity by running the Daytona 100 Ultramarathon this coming December 10th. Joe will run 100 miles down the east coast of Florida in under 30 hours.
100% of the funds will go to the Matthew Vernon Poyner Memorial Foundation to honor Matt's life by supporting individuals and organizations whose efforts ensure that Matt's kind and loving spirit endures as an inspiration to others.
