Ladd's host First Annual Matthew Vernon Poyner Memorial Foundation Cornhole Tournament

A great crowd gathered at the Ladd's on the afternoon of Fathers Day for a fun cornhole tournament and backyard meal in memory of Matt. Alex Ladd and Matthew Cox took out Vern and John Poyner in the championship game after a long dual. Brad Dotson and Cody Kaplan came in third. Alex set up brackets on a large board like it was March madness for cornhole and each of the 36 teams went to the brackets to see which one of the six sets of cornhole boards their next match would be on. The event was alot of fun and raised over $2,000 for Matt's foundation. We all look forward to coming back together and doing this again next summer.
